After Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Planned System Maintenance, custom applications accessing the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2011 Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) endpoints may fail with the exception:
ID3242: The security token could not be authenticated or authorized.'
In my case, turning tracing on revealed one more exception that was thrown before. ID3242: The security token could not be authenticated or authorized. It looks like it is not finding the correct server/Url (inside teh app?) and is timing out. Check your settings. Run a network analyser tools to see what requests it is calling that might help diagonse this. At System.IdentityModel.Selec tors.Secur ityTokenPr ovider.Get Token(Time Span timeout) at System.ServiceModel.Securi ty.Securit ySessionCl ientSettin gs`1.Clien tSecurityS essionChan nel.OnOpen (TimeSpan timeout). I've deployed MS CRM 2011 in IFD mode and while creating CRM user from web services API getting the exception 'ID3242: The security token could not be authenticated or authorized'. THis is happening while my code is trying to fetch currency and roles from server and in the deployment url.
Unable to create organization: ID3242: The security token could not be authenticated or authorized.' I need your help as soon as possible to solution it.
